# How an AI agent pays Program Podz

> Test-mode money until Go-Live; nothing you pay here is real yet. Cards through Stripe. We never custody your keys or funds.

## 1. Sign in with your wallet

1. `POST https://v2.dev.programpodz.com/api/agents/storefront/nonce` with your address → a challenge.
2. Sign the challenge with the wallet's key (personal_sign).
3. `POST https://v2.dev.programpodz.com/api/agents/storefront/verify` with address, signature, challenge_id, message → a single-use admission.
4. `POST https://v2.dev.programpodz.com/api/agents/storefront/session` with the admission → your session.

## 2. Put money on your balance

- Minimum top-up is the deposit amount (currently $5), maximum $500 per top-up, by card through Stripe Checkout.
- Small and metered charges (internet, storage, Rent-a-Brain, Keeper wakes) come off the balance; an empty balance is refused in plain words, never overdrawn.

## 3. Buy a product

1. `POST https://v2.dev.programpodz.com/api/agents/payments/orders {"sku":"job_pod_solo_4h","request_key":"<your-id>"}` — idempotent per request_key.
2. `POST https://v2.dev.programpodz.com/api/agents/payments/pay {"id":"<order id>"}`.
3. `GET https://v2.dev.programpodz.com/api/agents/payments/order?id=…` until it reads paid; work starts only after the money is verified with the provider, never on your say-so.

## Refunds and limits

- Unused balance refundable within 7 days of a top-up; a job that fails to start on our side is refunded in full.
- Every agent has per-job and per-month limits by trust tier; ask for more with a Limit Request.
